Independent Authors
Chill Awards are designed to shine a light on the best written books from independent authors or authors with small independent publishers.
Authors do not pay to submit a book instead send an EPUB file.
The corner stone of
Chill with a Book Awards is its readers.
All books in the Award Programme are read by THREE Chill Readers.
Chill readers do not write reviews instead they evaluate each book they read for Chill AWARDS against a five point check list.
Were the characters strong and engaging?
Was the book well written?
Did the story / plot have you turning the page to find out what happened next?
Was the ending satisfying?
Would you recommend to someone who reads this kind of story?
Readers are asked to score between 1-5 (5 being a yes)
Comments are encouraged from readers.
All comments included will be passed to the author.
ALL readers are anonymous to authors. However, their country of origin will be noted on the author’s Award certificate.
Books chosen by readers receive an EPUB file
to read on their Kindle or e-reader.
Readers are asked to read a book within 4 weeks from receipt of EPUB file.
It is the collective results from the THREE readers of each book that determines if a book receives an award.
