And I so agree, the reason I love Sam and Martha is because they ARE so real. I can so see her banging about in the kitchen because she's cross and Sam quietly sloping off to sit somewhere quiet to keep out of her way for a while! I will check the e-version for those line breaks - I am sure I put them in, but e-formatting is a dark art, as you know! And I am thrilled that you like this latest Sam outing; it was a hard one to write, with the darkness of the story, but I felt it had to be realistic. Someone once counselled me not to make Sam and Martha too perfect, so I have used this story to highlight their frailties, which I will admit has made me love them all the more!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4804142297590807485.post-92013949957351449462018-05-03T08:59:15.702+02:002018-05-03T08:59:15.702+02:00Hello Steve, that's very kind, as I was concer...Hello Steve, that's very kind, as I was concerned about being able to maintain the Sam standard. And I'm also disappointed that we have to wait until 2019 for Book Six in the series to appear . . . but on a positive note, it gives us something great to look forward to next year!Steve Simonsnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4804142297590807485.post-26899156002239522902018-05-01T15:03:42.379+02:002018-05-01T15:03:42.379+02:00It pays the best to be the Boss (B B King)....
